Yes, most of the state is red, not blue,blue, but that's land area, not people. People vote, not land. The majority of voters in those states are blue, and so that's who wins elections. Pretty simple.

It's about money in Illinois. And it's not just one things either. I was a member of DC 30 out of Aurora IL for a few years. Right before Obama was president the leaders or DC 30 would joke about our insurance being so cheap because of the Mexican's were paying for it. There were over 14 thousand Mexicans - all illegal - in DC 30 then. The union treated them like slaves. They imported them, SOLD them a drivers license and social security card, and rented apartments to them. They worked them till the weather got cold and those guy would go home. They would come back in the spring but you know what/ They stayed gone too long and now all their benefits we magically absorbed into DC 30 and they had to pay a fine to get back to work. I have a picture of Obama standing at the copy machine in DC 30's office with the president of the union and two Mexican painters. Right there - doing the math for 14,000 Mexicans was a gain of over $21,000.000. So what is it now? The unions are super corrupt, they pay the mayors off, they pay the representatives off, they par the aldermen off. the governor is in on it. When the democrat representatives ran away from Texas a couple months ago and came to Illinois- guess where they went for a photo op? District Council 30 Aurora's Office. Even the hospitals in Chicago pay people off. It's huge, It's everywhere. If you need a permit to build and can't seem to get it passed all you have to do is pay something to the person at the counter. The term '' I know a guy'' is alive and well in Chicago. It's democrats. It's always been democrats. There needs to be a house cleaning and it might get bad for Chicago but it needs to be done. The Governor here is also actively trying to get militias made illegal in Illinois. Which we can have according to our constitution.
The rest of Illinois is mostly happy people who live in rural communities just like in Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa - all the same. There's great trapping, hunting and fishing here and it's not crowded. We just have these rotten politicians in place. What governor threatens federal workers?
What governor gets ''incredibly lucky'' and wins over a million dollars at blackjack? Oh - and now after two years and people finding it out decides he's going to donate it all.

PS. Elections don't matter here- even the dog catcher elections are rigged so peoples kids get the job. When you try to get someone in office or elected they stack the deck and change the rules. When thy change the rules it's legal because they wrote the rules. When you speak up your property tax suddenly goes through the roof- Mine just went up 67% this year. No wonder people go nuts and do bad things.

if you are familiar with the brownshirts they were a Nazi paramilitary group that lead to Hitlers rise to power , they were tasked with protecting Nazi party meetings while disrupting other political party meetings and harassing Jews.

after 1933 when Hitler was elected to power most were done away with the night of the long knives June 30th 1934 , the Brownshirt leaders and the men that had swelled it's ranks to around 2 million believed in the German worker and in labor and were seen as too communist by Hitler as they were mainly comprised of out of work laborers due to the great depression.

I know the problem with Illinois is Chicago, but I just can’t believe people are that stupid. I have a friend who lives in Niles, been friends with him for o er 50 years, his entire family is top notch people. The stories he tells me of the ignorance up there is amazing
