Local gun shop has one in stock for sale, along with a bunch of other old Winchesters.

The 25-20 they have has a saddle ring and they want 1400 for it.

Me and my oldest boy were hunting out west once when an old cowboy stopped to visit. He had one in his truck that his uncle had carried horseback from Western Ks to Alaska and back.

You're welcome.

I get e-mails from that outfit and I remember one saying 10 percent off of the Winchesters

I have a relative that has one and has been handed down for many years. That gun has killed many deer. Like above saying they want $1400 for the gun. If it is in good shape the gun is worth that and will only go up in value.

Shot one years ago very cool firearm and neat cartridge. Don’t know if person still has it but I would bet he does. Sure it’s not for sale if he still got it

They are a great looking gun. Shells are expensive.

The 25-20 Winchester was later necked down to a 22 caliber bullet and the 218 Bee was born!

I have one. Inherited it from my father. It originally belonged to my grandfather and I remember him saying it was his favorite deer hunting gun. Don't ask me why as he had a beautiful Savage 99 in 303 that I personally would think would be a much better choice but he loved that 25-20.

my great grandfather thought 22hornet was the perfect deer gun
they shot orchard deer for meat , he was going to put a round right at the base of the skull so he didn't waste any meat. it was the great depression wasting ammo or meat was a big no.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Do you buy the 32-20 brass, or did they finally do a run of 25-20 brass?

I have one. Said to be a good turkey gun. I’ve shot it very little as the ammo cost a little more than an arm and leg.
