It seems to me the teams that do not get a bye have more success in the playoffs than the teams that get a bye in the first round. Maybe it is called momentum.

My 8 year old granddaughter knows every word to “ go cubs go” and loves it when Clark the cub comes running out on the field waving the huge W flag.

I might watch the World Series,, I was actually surprised that the cubs made it as far as they did.
Cubs were a way different team in May And June , making records and incredible stats,, then, something happened… for whatever reason…they lost the fire.

If the May-June cubs were in the postseason.. it’s a very good bet they would have won another World Series.
But that’s baseball,,
