Local gun shop has one in stock for sale, along with a bunch of other old Winchesters.
The 25-20 they have has a saddle ring and they want 1400 for it.

You're welcome.
I get e-mails from that outfit and I remember one saying 10 percent off of the Winchesters

I have one, never shot it. They are a great looking gun. Shells are expensive.

The 25-20 Winchester was later necked down to a 22 caliber bullet and the 218 Bee was born!

I have one. Inherited it from my father. It originally belonged to my grandfather and I remember him saying it was his favorite deer hunting gun. Don't ask me why as he had a beautiful Savage 99 in 303 that I personally would think would be a much better choice but he loved that 25-20. my great grandfather thought 22hornet was the perfect deer gun they shot orchard deer for meat , he was going to put a round right at the base of the skull so he didn't waste any meat. it was the great depression wasting ammo or meat was a big no.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
