After a heavy rain what do you need to do in regards to coyote sets?

Specifically double dirt hole sets

Might need to reset. Mud might have washed under the pan. Clean out the hole and dry to find some dry dirt or waxed dirt to rebed. Won't be long before freezing weather.

Since I use Mark Zagger’s pipe dream set, I rarely do anything. The trap is suspended over a hole. A stiff screen is used over the trap. A big handful of dry grass is used over the trap screen and feathered out on the sides. The whole set is designed to let the water flow thru. Nothing really needs to be done even after a heavy rain.
