There is no hope,

Conservative now means price manipulation and adding a trillion dollars in debt in 2 months while calling those who oppose your "market reforms" Rinos

But why don’t we complain when Democrats do this? Because they are democrats and this is how they roll.

I like everyone would like lowere prices at the store. BUT the market should work itself out without government interference. The government regs and restrictions drive up the prices for our producers. To under cut them with outside products twht dont have those higher cost imposed by government is how we ended up not producing things in America.

milk might be interesting in a year

my neighbors brother manages a big dairy , with milk prices down and beef up they have been breading the Holstein cows with angus and Hertford bulls to make a better beef calf and selling all the calves as feeders.
take every dollar they can now making Beef calves
when milk prices go up transition back

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

If beef is to spendy for ya, don't buy it, plenty of other options out there. As far as government involvement, they should stay out of this, but then they should get out of the farm business completely. Stop all subsidies of all kinds, sales tax charged, taxes paid on real estate value.

Yes there is. You need to find Obi-wan Kenobi. He's your only hope.

The import thing from Argentina is terrific really ................for some.
Gov't can pad it's pockets with increased import revenue. packers can produce higher profits in importing lower value meat and make fatter profits off of the consumer.
More imports=more federal coffer money, more gov't contracts, more money for big packing corporations who are political donators, more money for fancy foods for politicians in private jets pretending to represent you.

Consumers see really no break and local ranchers don't benefit. But Like I said., terrific idea for some.

Sounds about typically how it goes to me. Except he didn't hit it hurts domestic producers he just said it doesn't help them.

I get that you likely don't learn much of what is going on in the world but that is actually not the case with most first world nations. Explain to me where I am wrong on my assessment. I grew up in a family that raised cattle, have many relatives that still do and my closest friends are ranchers. I don't proclaim to be an expert but I actually understand a bit about the business but more importantly, know of issues outside of my little bubble.

The same high price/low cattle numbers exist here too, pretty much for the same reasons. "USA Stuff" I'm not actually surprised that you think high beef prices is USA stuff. COWS actually exist outside of the USA.

Being so condescending toward U.S. citizens based on your assumptions about what all of us know and understand is really pathetic. Your high opinion of yourself and low opinion of us gets my ignore button on anything you say. Take your hate and loathing elsewhere.

United we stand.

You were wrong in your assessment that consumers would not see a benefit of lower beef prices. "consumers really see no break" The intent of getting more beef into the market is to reduce prices at the grocery store. This would benefit consumers, contrary to your opinion.

OH No, Dan will ignore me because I disagree that someone outside of the USA can't actually have an opinion on high beef prices and poked fun at him because he made it an issue with me not being from the USA. P.S. If I hated and loathed I wouldn't have spent 3 days and in excess of $1000 in Minnesota last weekend. lol (Wentz laid a stinker)

Maybe you're right Steve, time will tell. I still think the benefit to the avg Joe will be negligible and also noticed PF seemed to agree with what I said although I neglected that local producers would be hurt, not just "not helped"

You're right and I've saw the error of my ways. I now am glad that God Emperor Trump is controlling markets unilaterally. I'm also no longer concerned that we're adding a Trillion Dollars of debt in 2 months. I used to believe in things like the free market and fiscal conservative principals but I now realize those things don't matter as long as my team is in charge, thanks yall!
