My son and his brother in law got a few today at son's wife parents ranch. They got their limit last weekend. I have a lot of birds but the cover is so thick. I will do some later in season on my place.

Hunting ditch chickens about all I miss about living in central Iowa.

I have only ever got to shoot birds that were put out. got to see some Driving in Kansas and Nebraska when working on cell towers when I was about 19. But the disposable point and shoot 35 mm camera oi had along didnt get good pictures of them.

Killed my first China bird in NW Missouri. Took maybe 15 steps out of truck and male rooster flushed and my lab chased the pheasant and grabbed tail feathers and bird kept running. Lab was use to waterfowl and new experience to him and me limit was 1 male back then. Still believe quail are better eating. Glad you had a good time

Nice! Hunted hard 3 days in Sodak. Heading home tomorrow. Had a blast. Every body dog tired.
