Little hack here ..to keep those pesky safety latches from swinging all ovah the place.

Some 14-16 ga wire ...wrapped like in the pic ..does the trick

Plus they slide up and down the spring too

Thanks for bringing that one back up, Nessie. After seeing you post that, a while ago, I followed it modifying some of my older rotating jaw traps. It was a cheap and simple fix to the annoying swinging safeties.
