The kids had a pretty good day. Started off with another good skunk. The boys had a good double on big boar coon. George's was 27 pounds even and Emmetts, his first ever, was just a touch over 30 pounds. We finished the day off with a beaver that the boys struggled to carry out. As a bonus, Elmera caught and released a trophy class toad. A fun day trapping in the rain.

Good job. Was surprised anything moved last night in the strong wind and rain. Picked up a pair of coon and skunk also.

I think the cool down is what had stuff moving. Stuff might have wanted to get a meal in while it was still warm. Just a guess though.

Just got a call from a landowner. Sounds like they picked up another skunk since we checked his place this morning, so I'll be posting another picture here in a little bit.
