Can't get much simpler than the yellow safety. One hand operation, easy on, easy off, hands never enter the danger zone.

And you have worn 330 bracelets more often than anyone else I know also!!

If I was still using those hair trigger Herters (with the malleable metal trigger dog hoods) I would sure think about using something. With the Belisles I feel completely safe with what I do.

The trap isn't the problem. The problem is me stumbling around in a size 14 boot and being OCD about getting all of my guide/dive sticks just right. I am bound to bump a couple every season and make them fire

Gotta live up to the nickname...

You're blessed to not have arthritis like me and others

I just use the spring safeties myself. But extremely sore knuckles have me thinking about using the yellow safety first posted in case I "slip with my grip"

I had a buddy that made that style with square stock rather than round. The square stock kept the hook end aligned with other end so he didn’t have to mess with it to get them oriented correctly.

I see a Firebird, and a false sense of hope in that pic.

Don't care for that style myself.

Everybody figures out what works for them. No disrespect intended for those that feel like they need safety devices of some sort.

The last time I remember wearing a 330 was after the set was made and perfect and I was just starting to back out of there when a little stick slid down kind of blocking off the entrance. I flicked it out of there and nicked the trigger when I did. Got me right across the palm.

Safety device wouldn't have already been removed.
