I try not to get too worked up. My life is still good. Live in a quiet community. Not much crime. Inflation is ridiculous. I blame that on the uniparty. Civil judgment, not a criminal conviction, so a much lower bar, and in a political case like this, it's not hard to assemble a hostile jury in a deep blue state. I don't find E. Jean Carroll credible, with no compelling evidence to support her story, but she certainly had motivation to promote her story to sell her books.

The states and places the Dems won in are always blue liening but the winning percentages were much larger then the presidential election and much larger then the polls indicated. The largest shifts were in minorities and especially Latino voters and younger voters and in bhe black community. These are the lower income citizens that have benefited the least over the last year and the statements about lowering grocery costs that were promised have not came through. This could bode issues for many GOP house reps next fall if this continues. The intimidation and retention of US Latino citizens is not playing well with the Latino communities.
The tariffs have brought in 200 billion to the US government, but still has not stopped the deficit from going up about 2 trillion in 10 months. The 200 billion is also a tax on US citizens and businesses which lowers consumers ability to spend and also businesses from using funds to grow and expand. The SCOTUS will be debating who has the right to tax the US citizens and that has always been the role of Congress and not the executive branch. If the tariffs are determined to be illegal what a mess to have those funds returned and to whom? Voters are just getting exhausted by the daily changes and the lack of any real policy consistancy. The administrations gains in foreign policy are being lost in the daily manipulaiton of the lives of the citizens.
