Treestand!

Too old and fat to climb trees. Never hunted in a tree, even when younger. Always on terra firma.

I ain’t getting in no tree. I realize there are advantages but I’m already clumsy and nervous and it wouldn’t be worth it for me. I only have five deer to my name and they were all taken from the ground..

Never shot a deer from a tree or stand. Been shooting them from the ground since 1973.

Climber stand

When deer are crossing a bull rush or high grass dry swamp you wont see them from ground.

Need to get high

Killed several from tree stands now being disabled it is pop up blinds in gun season.

63 yo here ... ladder stands 90% of the time.
