Great story, Dan! Congrats to your wife on a spectacular animal.
What was the age of her ram? My taxidermist said he was 9-1/2 or 10-1/2. We sent two incisors in to the state for them to age him. We'll find out what they say. We're getting a shoulder mount done. I'm also having the scrotum tanned to make a possibles bag with. My daughter claimed the one from my sheep (so I gave it to her) LOL. We're using the same taxidermist that did my Ram. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/11/full-20111-274528-my_ram.jpg)

It depends on how he looks after tanned and mounted. If it's obvious and looks rough we'll put the collar back on. I'm guessing he'll need the collar to look good.

Growing up in Rock Springs I spent every weekend of the summer fishing that lake and driving to red canyon lodge for some lunch, great ram and pictures! Brings back the memories! The Flaming Gorge area is definitely GOD's country! My family lived in Dutch John for 10 years where I was a Conservation Officer. We all love that area.

Nice hunt, thanks for the ride.
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.
