Congress decided sulphur and wax be refined out of diesel some years back. Save us from global warming. Its the added refinement costs. Add that to all the add ons required on a diesel engine and you can see a major component of inflation. EVERYTHING we consume requires diesel for transportation and in the case of farm/ranch goods also production.

The big trucking companies and railroads pay significantly less than pump price. Contracting hundreds of thousands of gallons at a time. A company called mudflap does the same thing. Using mudflap wont get you the big corporate discounts but savings are significant. Heard rumors of guys filling pickups by clicking the reefer fuel button at truckstops. No road tax and no red dye.

#2 onroad is running 3.69 here most 87-E10 pumps are 2.89 in the area I caught a 2.55 pump yesterday at Woodman's
they just wrapped up harvest , but they are also going to start blending #1 in for winter so probably won't change much
I was more wondering why the difference in 87-E10 30-40 cents a gallon one place to the next.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I want to know who runs the e85 gas. That stuff must come out of stations pump stail. Lot of hot rod guys are burning it. But you're right, it doesn't store well at all.

There was this bar that was so rough they checked you for a gun and if you didn't have one, they gave you one.

I worked at a filling station thru high school in the '70's and diesel used to be cheaper than gas.
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.
