We are past out rut peak.
The 3rd week of October breeding is intensifying with either side of the 25th being the peak. By Nov 5th...about 90% of does are bred here.

Younger bucks are already beginning to get back in loose groups here past week or so.

Yes...planted some daikon radishes and pt turnips on top of rye, wheat, oats, crimson clover, & Austrian winter peas in 3 or 4 plots. Also, added in sun hemp but past 2 nights frost here finished that off...what the deer hadn't already picked out.

There was also a little rape in that mix.

We had a frost on them past 2 nights. Watched a doe & yearling feeding on the turnip leaves this evening.

Prior to today, they were not browsing them.
