Forget a dash, use more thyme!
Any suggestions on a light sauce for the noodles? I was thinking of just adding some cream cheese and Parmesan and butter to them. Maybe a bit of Lea n perrins

Those look good. I'd be tempted to make a gravy in the pan and just eat them that way.

I bet they would be great with gravy over noodles or mashed potatoes. Heck, I bet Sam's "Special Dog" would even eat them.

I have nothing clever to put here.

You could melt a stick of butter in a pan add some salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, maybe a touch of lemon juice or if you’re looking for a tomato base use some tomato paste, no matter which reduce until thicker then serve hot.

I did add lemon thanks Bob!!! They were good. I had enough to freeze and use for a later date.

There’s some meatball soups that work great with frozen meatballs, so keep that in mind when you go to eat them.

What sausage did you use? I like to use Italian if I am making an Italian dish.

Just regular Jimmy Dean pork sausage in a roll. I really didn’t wanna overtake the venison flavor

Around here the grocery stores are carrying more types of pork sausage in the meat counter, since beef is high, here it’s quite a bit cheaper than the Jimmy Dean, something to keep in mind.

Similar recipe that I make rabbit meat balls. I use the Italian rabbit sausage I make and simmer the meatballs in marinara sauce. Served on a hoagie bun and shredded mozzarella cheese makes for an awesome meatball sub.

This was the first time I heard of milk in the recipe, I usually just use warm water. But I also heard that club soda works wonders!

My Grandmother used to make Venison meatballs and then can them with a can of Cream of Chicken soup and they were FANTASTIC!

I have nothing clever to put here.

Jam?! What a great idea I have some spicy plum chutney I wonder how that would be. I make meatballs in the air fryer and they turn out very nice. Seared on the outside but still tender
