Don't know how many bear hunters we have but I was lucky enough to connect on my biggest black bear this week and was wondering if there where anymore bear hunters out there. This guy tipped the scales at 406lbs and some change.

That was live weight. As for the fat I've never tried that one day I hope to work up the nerve to try it something about bear fat that is just odd that even in 20 degree weather it never really firms up throws me off.

I would love to be able to try and trap a bear seems like you get a big mad one there be a pucker factor!!

That bear grease sure will soak into your hands. I would like to kill a bear that weighed several hundred pounds.

At least save it! A 5 gallon mail of good bear fat is a dang nice barter coin with the right person! Find someone that likes making their own pie crust and give it to them in trade for delish pies!!
