I have a supply of chicken liver. I'm planning on using it as a base for predator bait. Not for sale, just to play around with. I was wondering if anyone else has done similar?

Ive tried liver from several different species and the reaction varies quite a bit. If its commercially raised chickens in confinement id have some concerns until I tested it. Thats all I have.

Farm raised chickens from my son's girlfriend's family. Nobody wants the giblets anymore with their meat birds.

Yep, it's worth trying. I've been testing some since summer.

We'll see how it works soon. It needs another week or so to give the SB a chance to be sure it's stopped. Kinda runny for a bait, may have to call it a bait/lure mix. Either way it smells like it'll work and my old dog seems to be obsessed with it. lol Surprised how much liver smell it actually gives off over the glands, castor, skunk essence & other ingredients.

All livers from any animal break down into a very fluid form after grinding and aging due to their high fluid content.
