Cleaning up my uncles place who passed away this past may and we are finding all kinds of stuff buried underneath briars, poison ivy vines .
We came across this..
I took a few pictures of it from different sides. Hopefully I have enough information in the photos.
Any idea what it was?

He was an electrician and an appliance repair technician for many years.. he took over the business when my grandfather retired.

This doesn’t look like anything related to electrician work or anything related to appliances that I can tell.

looks like a tile scoring tool to me missing a few parts

here is the modern version of it
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-2...747845-_-0-_-n/a-_-n/a-_-n/a-_-n/a-_-n/a

the tile is held into that right angle and you score with the roller carriage in a strait line then snap

That was my initial thought… something like cutting lumber or something.
I’m certain it’s some kind of a cutting guide..

Could be..
How did they cut bricks before the cut off saws today?? Could that be something to do with masonry?
My grandad built the house himself from brick,, a long time ago… just wondering
