Trump was outplayed and forced to give up the files. He does not want any more info coming out. My speculation is that it will show that the US govt. was complicit, in conjunction with Isreal, in Epstein's honey pot scheme. Trump, as well as those in power before him, have been using these files as leverage. It will not look good Trump that he chose to blackmail rather than prosecute.

As for your question.....I have no idea why they mentioned trump and Epsteins friendship. I'm not the one who mentioned it. Get them to answer. Trump is one of the accused, here, but there's many, many, more. Every single person for whom there existed probable cause to believe they raped children should be investigated and prosecuted.
(Notice I didn't say there was probable cause to investigate trump. Maybe there is, maybe there isn't. I have no idea. Accusations don't equal probable cause).
