In figuring this out?

I posted this to a geneology page looking for help. I thought that I'd try here as well.

Alright I got a head scratcher here. Any of my Williams cousins that can help straighten this out?

My g grandmother was Mary Rosaline "Rossie" Williams McLeod. Her parents and grandparents are buried at Elam Baptist. According to Find-a-Grave my Williams line traces from her to Thomas Lafayette Williams to John Giles Williams to William Bryant Williams Sr, buried at Loftin Cemetery in Bashi.
Now for the interesting bit, William Bryant, according to Find-a-Grave, is the youngest son of Colonel, later General, James Henderson Williams who was killed at the Battle of Kings Mountain during the Revolutionary War. He was the highest ranking patriot killed in that battle.
Problem, Find-a-Grave lists Wiliam Bryant's date of birth as 1796 which is 15 years after his father's death in 1781. Also his mother would have been 53 at the time of birth. There is also a 19 year gap between him and his nearest sibling. Further, there is an included biography that list all the children born to Col Williams and Mary Clark Wallace Williams, save for the last two William Bryant and Elizabeth.

I have no useful input for you, so I apologize for going off topic. When I scrolled past your thread I thought I saw that you were looking for advice from gynaecologist. I'm glad I was wrong.

Family Search has her as:

Her census records on Family Search have her name spelled in different ways, but dates, places and parents match.

Likely, unsurprisingly to anyone here, she is my cousin.

I'll try to find the other information for you.

James Henderson Williams is Mary's great, great grandfather. It looks like a Williams married a Williams, which is likely causing the confusion. There are at least 3 other women from Clarke County, Alabama with very similar names.

Most of the census data and other records are unattributed to a person with a file number. I recommend getting an account, looking at the records and if they match, attaching them to your ancestors.

Looking at the census and other records more, different genealogists combined at least 3 different women with the same birthplace and very similar names. To make it more confusing, they are all apparently related to each other fairly closely.

Everybody is inbred. It looks like most of Warrior's are fairly closely related to each other. Your ancestors that I looked at are the same way. It looks like a lot of both of your ancestors are related to me, from pretty much all sides. We are all a bunch of cousins.

I'm afraid to check to thoroughly. There may well be some Jewish carpetbagger in cousin Savell's tree and he would have to divorce his wife, just like Clayton Bigsby did, for similar reasons.

Cousin Jeremy, PM me your closest dead ancestors' names, birth and death places, birth and death dates and I'll run them through.

Some of our many great grandparents and my many great aunts and uncles that contributed to making you, did indeed start the South.

Are you sure some Yankee bull didn't jump a fence and cut a Savell heifer from the herd?
