Occasionally. But, generally, I prefer to donate to an individual.
Proudly banned from the NTA.
Bother me tomorrow. Today I'll buy no sorrows.

Usually church has different groups come and have a talk about their work and ask for donations. Then there is the church doing their own our church hit this amount for this___ group or mission trip in addition to tide.
I prefer to donate when I see a need without being asked. Little things like a friend a church 2 years younger than Me died of cancer within 6 months of finding out. His wife and kids are great and they have always been tight on funds. When church camp came along I went to the Youth leader man paid for the kids camp to be sure they could go and their mom would have just a little less stress with one thing Not having to worry about. there's is more than money also service. Making sure they had fire wood. That reminds me to have the wife reach out.
I like St Jude. Sick kids really hit me hard in my soft spot.

I was a member of Lions Club International for many years. We did à food drive every Christmas and delivered it to the needy. However I was also the trash truck driver and alot of the food that required preparation just got tossed in the trash. Kinda soured me on helping the needy If you give food, give items that à child can open and eat that doesn't require preparation from an adult.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Not until I get the low down , I'm a cynic first and foremost
I've donated to st Jude........they recieve high marks for a charity
Like Angela, I prefer to help individuals on a case by case .....especially when it involves children
Most adults can pound sand !
Oh , and don't even ask me if it involves animals , unless it's a bounty......lol
