That reminds me of a Twilight Zone episode. The Hunt?

Just doing what I want now.

I don’t dream about him, but I lost my best beagle, Bob, 39 years ago. Man was he a hunting machine. We hunted a lot of multiflora rose. At the end of the day he would be a bloody mess. The tip of his tail would be raw and the sides of his body would have a big red spot from wagging his tail so hard it would hit his sides. I would take him in the house and lay my hunting coat on the floor and he would sleep on it. He wore himself out chasing rabbits

When Bob saw a shotgun he would go nuts. He would jump up and down and bark, he thought we were going rabbit hunting. I hunted ducks in a river about a quarter mile behind the house. Before I went duck hunting I would put Bob in the house so he would not see me leave. I was married at the time and when my wife would get up she would let him out. I knew when she was up because I could hear Bob howling and following my trail back to my duck blind. He would show up and then I would be hunting ducks with a beagle and a Chesapeake Bay retrevier.

I dream constantly. Bizarre dreams.
But I often do dream about my pets current and past. When my beagle Sampson was getting old and losing weight with renal failure, I can still feel his little body in my arms, the exact way he felt when I picked him up, and his silky floppy ears.

Growing up we had a beagle, Judy who was a hunting machine. My brothers and I always got our limit of rabbits, and she ran them so slow we would hunt w/.22's. She would be so exhausted, we carried her back home in the back basket lined with a towel.

I have no dreams, incurable insomniac. My wife on the other hand dreams all the time. She has dreams night after night with "themes" as she call them. She can tell you details that hardware for me to remember in real life.
She'll also rehash to me dreams she had when she was a child. For the life of me I can't relate. Have probably only had a handful of dreams ever. I guess me and Rapid Eye Movement aren't friends of the night

I dream every night, and it's a curse most of the time. Often takes me a bit of time in the morning to separate the dream from reality. Every now and then I have a good dream about Carrie Underwood or something, but most of the time they are either scary, or just plain bizarre.

I seldom have dreams, or at least I don't remember them. But, I had one the other night that shook me up. My fishing buddy Kirk and I were on snowmobiles on a road going down off into a river gorge below. It was a steep slope with the river hundreds of feet below on the left. The road kept getting steeper and more narrow until it was just wide enough for the machines with a sheer cliff on or left. And I couldn't get my machine to stop. It kept bumping into Kirks making his fishtale. About the forth time it hit his it threw him off and over the cliff. And all I could do was watch his body fall. He didn't make a sound. He just kept tumbling until he disappeared from view. I have never been so happy to wake up to realize it was just a dream in all my life.

Bizarre dreams here. Läst night it was a 3" pen with 5 different colors of ink.
Dreams are often about fish and water.
After hauling trash for 20 years, I still haul trash at night ten years later.

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

My dreams are always dead of night. Like 2-3 o’clock in the morning. Many times setting traps at my grandpaps old house. Scary as it is, I feel secure there. Racing around on all fours checking sets and sniffing out game.
Empowered.

I dream every night but rarely remember them. If I wake up mid-dream, and then actually get up and think about it... I can remember them then. Mine are usually very strange. I'll have nightmares sometimes.... but most often just bizarre dreams.

I was told by a very knowledgebale person that a valid spiritual dream would be remembered in good detail for a very long time .

An anti-inflammatory drug that was given to me when I tore my rotator cuff, would give me some super weird dreams if I took it two days in a row. 1st night would be good sleep, but second night would be absolutely bizarre.
