20 years ago when most folk sawme att a convention I weighed 210

Today after a slow progression I weigh 140

How ?? Ain't gotta clue but one hint maybe the lack of sweets

I am 5 ft 8 and 140 is dang near perfect for bmi

Dunno what happened with the sweets, used to be a pre req for breakfast

Nowadays, a couple of eggs and instant grits or a can of soup

Anyways, anybody ever had this non diet loss of weight thru normal change of appetite ?

About given up alcohol. Dropping about two pounds per month as a result. Got a long way to go.

Keith, not to scare you but you might want to get a physical to make sure everything is in order. After this crazy Covid hit, it screwed up lots of folks.

I've dropped a ton of weight this summer. 185 to 145 and I am trying to gain it back and am struggling. I weighed 148 in high school and its like my old metabolism is back. I was never a sweets guy.

I'm kind of worried I should go to the doctor too but I think its from life style change and am holding out for now but thats exactly what you aren't supposed to do, ignore symptoms but seems logical to me.

I stopped taking these a few weeks ago but believe they are what did it for me.

I go to bed at 8 so at 7pm I used to take two ashwagandha, one lions mane, one magnesium, and three or four melatonin. I only mention it b/c it was part of the cocktail but shouldn't have anything to do with weight but who knows. I will also include I started drinking glass bottle carbonated water but that also shouldn't matter but who knows. I drink some soda but it has always been diet, can diet 7up.

The one thing I had to quit doing was I wouldn't really eat all day and then eat about three meals worth of food at six seven oclock and then go to bed. Stopping that and taking these I lost weight. I'm not sure it was all that b/c now I am eating like a pig and can't gain it back... well its taking a lot longer than I ever figured. Im getting fast food breakfast on the way to work, eatting chipotle bowl at lunch, and supper at night for example. Everyday for two or three weeks and have gained maybe five pounds but probably not that much.

Dang I look good though smile.

But about you... if you are losing weight and have nothing to attribute it to then maybe go see a doctor. But if you went from eating six candy bars worth of candy a day to nothing... that is more significant than you realize.

Looks like taking two of those ashwagandhas every night, 7 bottles later I was down to fighting weight. I've discontinued all pills except the melatonin. Best of luck everyone.

If you need a pick me up and to maybe kick start your metabolism maybe look into this. Its the latest cure all. A half a dozen drops of this in your sweet tea in the morning and you will notice energy and good bathroom breaks. Read up on it. Half the factory seems to be taking it.

Went from 195 to 145 over a winter few years ago (2013) had a check up got diagnosed with myeloproliferative disorder evolved into chronic lymphocytic leukemia, my suggestion for what's it's worth, which with it and $1.00 will get you a $.50 cup of coffee, get checked put by trusted medical professional.
