Drove up from Southeast Pennsylvania to North Central, Pennsylvania, near the New York State line today. There were lots of members of the Orange Army heading north.

3 inches of snow on the ground, 25° and windy. Should be an excellent opening day tomorrow.

Luckily filled my buck tag in archery, but still going tomorrow. Taking my wife and 2 boys up to our mountain ground and gonna try to get my wife her first deer(she says she's holding out for a buck). Thankfully, we just put up a redneck blind this summer so we can stay warm and the boys don't have to be 100% silent. May venture out a time or 2 in rifle season with the bow to a little honey hole I have to try to fill a doe tag too. Good luck to you and all the other PA hunters this season!

Definitely tame. Back then there was an invasion of million deer hunters in PA especially in the Big Woods North Country. Now a sprinkling of hunters compared to then.
