If we lived closer I'd be trying to trade you some homemade butter for some fresh bread. It'd work out well for both of us. Not sure how butter would ship though.

Man a slice of that warm bread slathered with butter sure sounds good right now. It's been a while. I need to get my starter out and rejuvenate it.

I wish I could make it. My house is too cold for fermentation.

We had the same problem. We built a little warmer box, heated it with a light bulb. It worked pretty well.

In the winter I'll proof my loaves in the oven with the light turned on.
