I just returned home from my first post surgery visit with my back surgeon.

Turns out he had to add a lot more hardware than originally anticipated.

I ended up with
14 screws
6 rods
2 cages

I'm 2 weeks out now and still sore, but it's getting better every day.
It going to be a long time before I know what my physical limitations will be..

That's a lot of hardware. Sending prayers for good healing and a successful outcome.

That's pretty extensive surgery hope things keep improving.

I'm heading there too- discussed options yesterday. Praying for you

I opted to not have surgery,,, I’ll be straight up honest and admit that I’m terrified to have it done.
For reasons only known to GOD,, I’m able to do things that I didn’t think I was
Possible again. Lamenectomy and cervical fusion because of the cervical stenosis.

I ll pray for your speedy and full recovery… you have wayyyy more guts than me…
