....if you went. And what did you major in? Degrees?
I recently graduated summa cum laude from University of Maryland's Global Campus with a bachelor's in finance.
I had, many years ago, earned an associate's in liberal arts at a community college when I was just out of high school. But then, stuff happened, and I never went further than that. It was actually the frequent financial posts here on tman that made me decide I wanted to go back to school and learn more about finance. Then I found out that my current employer, Lowe's, would pay 100% of my tuition to get my degree.
The only catch was that the school selection was limited, and all of the schools offered were online programs. I didn't have a problem with it being online (in fact, that worked best for me), but I was a little embarrassed to have to go to a Big 10 school instead of an SEC school, lol.
But I'll take a free, online Big 10 bachelor's any day over going tens of thousands in debt to get an on-campus SEC degree.
I was a little surprised when a couple of people on here wanted to shoot down my effort to go back to school due to it being an online school instead of in-person. Those 2 were both liberal lawyers, btw, but I am sure that was a coincidence.

But, apparently, my "fake" online degree was good enough for the admissions folks at Ole Miss, as I was quickly accepted into their on-campus MBA program, which I intend to pursue this coming summer. And then I'll even be able to say I am an SEC graduate afterall.
But anyways.... I know we have a very diverse population of members on here, and was just wondering what ya majored in, and where ya went.
