I try to get most of my materials local at The Kingfisher, but if I cant find what im looking for Redds usually has it. Good hooks are especially hard to find here and theres not a lot of guys in my neck of the woods tying for bones and such. Whatcha tying up?

Remember when just about all fly shops, even small ones, had thier name on the small containers that they put the fly in? Does any still do that?

i dont have the patience for fly tying. hands shake really badly from all of my spine surgeries and other issues.

Not to hi jack the thread but im getting ready for Hawaii. Different things for trevally and some bonefish flies that get thrashed from catching fish. I’d say one out of four hook ups with bonefish leave the hook destroyed. Mustad 34007s explode. Too brittle. Have settled on Gamakatsu Sl11-3hs in the 2-4 range. I have to tie a bunch more of my MT clousers. Self harvested mt goat for belly with bear hair for the back. I filleted over 200 bass this year which wears out a lot of flies. They get recycled for hooks and eyes.
