I can see where it is beneficial for situational decision making but can it improve actual accuracy?

Well, first you need to explain what it is, lol

How They Work
Laser Cartridge/Gun: A laser device (often a dummy round) fits into your actual firearm or a special training gun, emitting a laser pulse with each trigger pull.
Sensor/App: A sensor or smartphone app detects the laser dot, registers the hit on a target (digital or physical), and provides immediate feedback.
Data & Analysis: Systems track shot placement, timing, and consistency, offering scores and analytics to diagnose issues and track progress.
Key Components & Examples
Laser Cartridges: Like Laser Ammo or Strikeman, these go into your gun.
Interactive Targets: Electronic targets (e.g., Laser Ammo) or apps (e.g., iTarget Pro, Mantis Laser Academy) that react to the laser.
All-in-One Systems: MantisX (X10 Elite for analysis), Strikeman (laser cartridge & app), Mantis Blackbeard (for AR-15s).
Full Simulators: Laser Range uses a projector and computer for immersive scenarios.
Benefits
Cost-Effective: No ammo costs.
Convenient: Practice safely at home.
Skill Development: Builds muscle memory, improves trigger control, and sharpens accuracy.
Engaging: Makes dry-fire practice more interactive and fun.

It depends on the range of your shots. At home defense distances it should help. At windage distances not so much. IMHO

Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

No expert by any means just self taught. My way of thinking on this. Any time your pulling the trigger and trying to stay on target develops muscle memory. Also builds on hand eye target thing. Some of my best falls wing shooting birds. I had played lots of paintball with the kids in summer. Shooting is shooting if your doing it correctly. Has to help

I'm going to say no to improving accuracy. To do that you need feedback on accuracy - like " that was high" or "that was low" with laser tag the only feedback is "hit" or "miss". I think you need actual range time with a paper target to improve accuracy.
