It’s pretty amazing how $300 million became a $billion. It was federal money. Therefore, it should have had federal oversight. I gotta think there is PLENTY of blame to spread around.

The Somalis were American citizens. In a way it’s no different than the mafia and tax fraud; military contractors being caught gouging the military for laundry service or any of the other ‘feel good’ programs that turned out to be frauds. We got them. Most have been prosecuted and are doing prison time.

Ultimately the governor is held responsible. Tim Walz has been a decent governor. Yeah, our taxes are high but if things were as bad as some on here say, the state would be attracting a whole lot fewer people than it does.
