Ted Nugent commented that children 16 and under should get free licenses to help get the youth involved. I agree 100%

Under 16 in KS dont need a license to hunt fish or trap. A youth deer or turkey tag must be purchased but they are cheap. To sell their fur themselves they need a trapping license. I dont know if thats reduced or not I always just sold kids and grandkids fur for them.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

I think a youth deer tag is $9 here, no one isn't hunting because they couldn't come up with $9

You live in a commie state...if kids under 16 have to pay for any license

I guess I am shocked to hear that any state requires a general hunting permit for those under 16! (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) is wrong with those states.

We need license for hunting under 16 but not fishing or trapping. Well technically we need a trapping license but it's free... Or something like that. And maybe parents need a license for fishing??? I don't remember

X2. Similar to that Northeastern commie state that wouldn’t let people hunt on Sunday for all those years.

Youth need a consolidated youth hunting and trapping license here if under 18. It covers everything but federal water foul stamp. I think its up to $12 now was 7 when I was a kid.

Child here must accompany an adult with a permit.
Seniors get hunt fish trap with all stamps included for 5 bucks a year. I like that.

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Under 16 here don’t pay a dime.
I always thought they should up that to 18 just to keep them interested all through high school.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I agree but if kids aren't getting to hunt because of a few dollar license whats that say for the parents.

I've taken quite a few kids hunting, trapping, fishing. I've personally never heard a single one say the cost of a liscense was a prohibiting factor.

Things I have heard.
*I have no where to hunt
*I need to take a class to trap
*there's no game where I hunt
