Those are very well knapped points. I have done many and some knife blades over the years. I am still working on better results in my spare time.

I thought it would be funny to have a store called "Genuine Ancient Antiques in About an Hour", that sold knapped points and other goods people can still make.

These points here are even on all sides, like an equilateral triangle...
Nice thing about quartzite is they white really stand out even mostly buried....

There's a spot I discovered when minnow trapping on a tidal creek that was a small wooded bluff, Found points and pieces on the shore under the bluff, best I can think of it was a winter camp and in the process of manufacturing many cracked, and they were chucked into the water with some Algonquin curses..LOL

Too cool !

There's a young man here in Oklahoma , Caleb Flies, that took a black bear using knapped heads and a self bow a couple years ago.

Good looking points. Wish mine were looking that good. Had a back injury and it hurt to knap, getting recovered and need to get back at it soon.

Cattrapper77,
You are better than good!

Down here in the deep South, the Natives used agatized coral they found embedded in the limestone along the rivers. Some gorgeous translucent stuff, especially after it has tumbled thru rock shoals for a few thousand years.

That dalton looks fantastic!!!
And the quartz points are amazing!!
I found a chunk of quartz several years ago when I was in Arkansas… I brought it to a knapper I knew to have a point made…
He told me it would be too difficult to make.
I didn’t know if it was a bad piece of quartz or if it’s just a hard material to nap and an advanced skill level is needed.

Foxkidd alot of it depends on the quartz. But it still a tough material to knap! Swamp that coral is some beautiful lithics.

Quartz is very impressive.

Here's one of my better ones. I have a ways to go to get back to this right now as its been a while since I last knapped. Glad to have gotten my back fixed but somethings are taking a bit to get back into doing.
