Well, if Danny knows, we all will soon also.

![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/12/full-20111-277750-track_makers.jpg) The three lobbed heel is the give away it's a cat. The claws of a cat will often show in mud or snow (especially in snow on slick ice). It's hard to guess on size without something for scale but I'm wondering if Danny is sneaking a house cat on us:)
Each day is a gift. LIVE IT with gratitude.

Claw marks are rare on cat tracks though not ever seen especially when they need some traction.

Midnight wallywampus heading south-southeast, favoring his (you can tell it's a male by the way the second-from-the-left toenail is longest) rear left foot. Wound is somewhere near the top of the leg. Probably got in a fight with another wallywampus. Probably going to find the swoompus vines to catch moths. Based off the track it appears he is about 3 1/2 years old, and temperature is about 31.2 degrees Fahrenheit. Looks as if he passed by at 6:39 PM on the 6th.

Dog or canine. Claws are clearly visible. Cat claws are retracted.
Cats do have claws and they do use them occasionally, Danny knows what this is, just stirring the pot alittle.
Just the right amount of whelm.
