I like all different soups but there's 2 old world soups I really like. Tripe with lima beans and ox tail with lima beans. My mom used to make them so she taught my wife how. Ox tail is good but one tends to get there fingers sticky getting all the meat off of the bones. My wife makes them both on the thick side. I also really like giblet soup with lima beans. Lots of carrots, celery and onion goes in all these soups.

We do lots of soups and chilis.
Favorites are
homemade chili
split pea with ham
white chicken chili
Hot pepper soup
I also buy those bear soup mixes and then add a couple extra cups of water, 2 cups of broth, meat and several packages of our veggies.
Feels like a good soup winter already
