Another plug for Thorogood boots. I had one pair that was resoled three times before the uppers gave out.
Best and most comfortable boot I ever wore.

This is why I went from Red Wings to Nicks.

Some of the Red Wing work boots are still made in the USA. The 402 model I've been wearing for decades still is thankfully.

Their line of Worx shoes and boots suck from what I hear, Chinese crap.

I had a bunch with sole separation where it flexes at the ball of the foot

I bough Carolinas for hunting , the soles look like new the leather on the toes and sides look like heck , tore up from briars , the soles don't get much wear high stepping through grass and walking on dirt and leaf litter.

the leather split where they flex so I shoe gooped them for now

hard enough finding anything that fits when your a 15 , then to try and find something that holds up , it is ridiculous I have a pair of Danner's I bough this fall to try as the search continues.

it's a good thing I only live a little over an hour from the shoe box , it's the only place I find shoes that fit.

Just check out Keen work boots. I've been wearing them for many a year. Break in easy and they just last. Even there short, I guess you could call them a yard boot lasts a long time. The soles are stitched on a lot of them.
