-9 here, and also enjoying some hot coffee. Gonna wonder out to the shed in a little while and put up some coon. Life is good.

I have -18 this morning and suspect it will drop a couple points at sunrise.

I reckon we'll all lose a few degrees when the sun comes up. Good news is there is a warm up coming later this week for a big section of the Midwest.

It's a Prarie, it's 197 acres with about 5 acres of it treed. Deer will Lay up in little patches of brush, cattails.

Ya all win !!!!! Only 16 here but 6 inches of new snow. Had to shovel out the 2 spots that I ground feed the birds at. Nice fire going in the wood stove. $% degrees by this coming weekend.

13 here still darker then the inside of a cow. 30's and 40's for the next 7 days for highs. The white stuff will be melting.

Right around -1 this Moring here, stuffed the wood stove full as I could around 9:00 last night
Just filled it again just now. Only got down to 62 in the house. Gotta love these fisher wood stoves!!

Weather app says 4°. Got up at 445 and drove my daughter to work since it had snowed some. Our road is curvy and hilly with a few nice drops and she gets nervous driving in snow. Since im off I am glad to make sure she gets to work safely and doesn't start her day stressed out.

Glad I put some black locust in the wood burner last night.

Well not that ya all are complaining, just stating facts, but here where we would normally have at least 2 feet of snow and temps in the teens during the day and single digits at night temps low 30's at night and mid 40's during the day, almost have to get the lawn mower out, only way to do any fishing is break out the boat. But at least we aren't flooded like the westside of the state.

Let the dogs out at 4AM it was -14 warmed up -4 degrees since then yippee the last cold day for a while. The wood boiler is pumping out the BTUs.

It is warm here. 17 degrees this morning and been shoveling snow all morning that came in last night. Got the wood stove all fired up and now the cabin is nice and warm again.

I think Donnersurvivor and 330 are brothers. Anyone else see the resemblence. Could be my glasses too.
