Big Sam OP trapper B Joined: Aug 2012 Blackduck Minnesota	The trap check was quite successful today. A couple of kind gentlemen pointed us the right direction, and George was able to limit out on marten. It's great that the trapping community is full of folks that are willing to help a kid out. Afterwards, Emmett and I got a couple cat and fisher sets in, also based on a tip from another trapper that wants to see the kids succeed. Turned out to be a great day.

Sam...you might want to write down a little story ( Journal type stuff )...each day ...weather...what kind of set you made . .where the set was... How long before you hooked up. . And any other notable things that happened while checking traps. I did that with my son for about 6-7 years...and sure is fun to look back on. I also made my son do a little writing in it too. It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.
