Been keeping up with a family whose 14 year old son has been fighting tooth and nail against cancer, it's recently got alot worse . I never heard of this organization that's trying to get him a bass boat but thought id post what his mom said as most of us outdoorsmen like to support such organization's that help kids especially kids with terminal disease's.

want to be very clear and transparent, because that matters to me.
First…you will never see me share a GoFundMe or ask anyone to donate money to our family. We are blessed. We have a roof over our heads, food on our table, medical insurance, and we are able to continue our tithing to God and meet our family’s needs. Because of that, I would never feel right asking for financial help.
That said, I am deeply appreciative of the love that has been poured into our family. It does help ease the stress of the unknown and future medical realities, and I’ve had to learn a hard but important lesson from a God-fearing sister in Christ to stop telling people “no.” She told me that refusing a blessing can take away someone else’s opportunity to give. Swallowing my pride hasn’t been easy, but I’ve learned to simply say two words….”thank you.”
I am sharing this page below one time only to confirm that a fundraiser page created by a Christian organization is legitimate and not because we are asking anyone to give.
Many of you know that Jason and I had planned to purchase Will a brand-new bass boat ourselves. Some of you may remember in a video of me telling Will that we might not have the cash, but we had excellent credit and could make it happen. National Kidz Outdoors would not hear of it. They reached out and told Jason that bass fishermen and organizations had come together and wanted to gift Will a new boat for Christmas.
After Will’s last PET scan, when we learned how drastically things had spread, Jason asked if that gift could happen sooner because of the unknown future. That’s when we learned the fundraiser was still about one-third short. Jason offered to pay the remainder, but the organization refused — because their mission is to bless disabled children without burdening their families.
Mrs. Carol, of National Kidz Outdoors, who has a heart for the Lord, created the fundraiser page. Unfortunately, it was questioned and reported by some who weren’t sure if it was legitimate. She even tried to have it shared through a Facebook sponsor who follows Will’s journey and shares our updates but was told she would have to pay them to promote it.
I want this said clearly: we do not need anyone to donate anything Because of what many of you have already done for our family, we are able to cover the remaining cost ourselves.
The money raised by our local business, The Meat Locker (Neal Hargle), was originally going to be used for a good used truck for Will when he turns 15 in two months. We have now decided to use that money instead, to finish funding Will’s bass boat — the portion Kidz Outdoors was unable to raise.
So please hear my heart:
Will is receiving his boat because of the love and generosity already shown — not because we are asking for more.
We will never ask for financial help unless we reach a point where we cannot provide the bare necessities for Will and Charlie. As long as I can color my hair, get Charlie’s nails done, enjoy a margarita with good Mexican food, or use my mad money for Botox — I will never ask for anything.
We are grateful beyond words because of each of you.
Thank you all for loving our family so well.

That's the link to the organization helping kids.

AS for the letter, the momma was just commenting they don't need anything and she's not nor never will ask for money. She was just bringing awareness to these folks trying to get her son a boat before Christmas. Sadly this will probably be his last Christmas, hopefully before he gets too bad he can enjoy some fishing in the boat for a few weeks. Just a heart breaking story.

Why buy a boat if he's gonna pass? Why not pay for a bunch of guided fishing trips?
