I look everywhere I can think of, but rely mostly on common sense, logic and reason. Rare commodities these days it seems.

Primary sources are best, followed by less edited sources. For instance watching an entire speech by Donald Trump tells you the most about what he said. Watching the highlights gives you an idea about what he said. Watching the sound bites, tells you nearly nothing except what the editor wants you to believe.

Getting to be if you personally don't see / hear it you can't believe what any news source is saying unfortunately

If you don't personally see, hear, or witness the original incident. Hold an item in your hand. There is is no truth for you only the version you are told.
If you witness something even have photos or video. Its still will be suspect of any truth by someone.
Truth has been replaced by smoke and mirrors and personal opinion.

Personally.. I find I feel better during the day … not watching any news..

The news is like one big litter box now you need to sift through it to find the truth nuggets and even those can’t be trusted.
