Towel warmer for the bathroom, a new baby is joining us in april and it will save me from running the dryer to warm up little mans towel at bath time. Kinda a handy family gift more than just for her. Along with a bunch of scratch off tickets she enjoys once a year

Got the princess a mint 65 corvette a few years ago. Told her that was for all gifts for the remainder of our lives. Birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries. Just get her a few trinkets now.

I bought mine 450# of beef. Well, that and a couple of gold rings with small diamonds. I think she might be happier with the beef but we'll see.

Once again nothing. It's an agreement we came to long ago. We spend money for vacations to somewhere tropical in the winter for a few days and usually try to plan another vacation or 2 the rest of the year.

Also like corky we have enough stuff.

We've been married 55 years on the 21 of this month and she told me she didn't want or need anything. She is a freeze baby so I bought her a rechargeable battery heated coat. Plus a few small things. I really like that birth stone neckless. My wife has a ring like that, that she never takes it off.

So far nothing. I figure 4 kids, farm, living and transportation cost her entire life since she was 16 should have it covered. She is most expensive thing I have ever had. ALSO the BEST and she is worth it most of the time. Finishing fund her Roth for the year but have tell April to get that done.

Likely will take her on a day or weekend trip to a conference or event she would like to go to. Or possibly a new small green house if I find something suitable. I have planed on building her one for few years it has not got done so I started looking around and will end up buying one.

My wife has wanted a big cutting board/chopping block. Rather than buy it I decided to make one. I'm no wood worker and have limited tools so it has some imperfections but I enjoyed working on it and thinking of her using it. I made it out of black walnut. I used some of the beeswax from our bees to make a conditioner for the board. Then I decided to get her some new knives to go with the board. I had some leftover walnut so I decided to also make her a magnetic knife holder.

We use one checking account. Don't buy each other gifts. Kinda silly when you been married long as we have. I have in the past bought fur coats and jewelry. Rarely wears either. If one of us wants something we just buy it. (finances permitting) Instead we celebrate with kids and their spouses, grandkids, great grand kid and have a feast. Grandkids all get gifts.

Her two favorite things are sitting in a chair reading and complaining about being cold. She's getting an electric throw blanket. It will take away one of her favorite things. And a stupid bracelet. I don't get it at all but jewelry makes them happy. Just feels like a huge waste of a few hundred dollars to me. They are very strange.

We usually don't get anything for each other. If she wants something she can just buy it. I don't see how my involvement helps.
