Yesterday I continued an old DiSalvo family tradition started by OG Pop. We have always sprung or pulled our traps on the 23rd or 24th of December, always year after year. Pop once told me "Nothing should die on Christmas". We also do not hunt on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, my Dad and Uncle duck hunt a great deal the went out Monday and yesterday, but will not go back out till Friday, Pops rules and all.

So a very Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Mike and the rest of the DiSalvo's

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure

Very kind of ya.
All those critters are our gift from God.
Might just be fitting to give them a break for a day or 2.

Never did though.
Cheers !

It's a great family tradition that I applaud you for honoring. It's a very respectful sentiment. Harvesting wildlife that God created for our use, with respect and gratitude, during the Christmas holidays is part of our family tradition.

Each day is a gift. LIVE IT with gratitude.

I just got in from making some sets. Running traps before opening presents is a tradition with us.
