I have just dragged my heel down along the wall making a trail of sorts and did ok.

What if you use a snare any thoughts ? Can't use snares that small here in Iowa.Because of Deer stops. just

Pocket sets are my go to for mink and coon. Easy to make and highly effective. And great for a new trapper.
Got a gift from my brother. It was 3 AA batteries with a note that said, Gift Not Included.

Here is a mink set I like to use. It is where a bridge wall meets a banks that is steep, I poke in a pocket set right where they meet, put a small pencil sized stick on the dog which I put at the dog with the dog being opposite the pocket set. Nice, good set. As a blind setter for mink, I'd have a trap slipped in under the grass about where he's laying and possibly a little smear of lure above it on the wall.
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.
