Had some prime rib with mashed potatoes, gravlax, apple tart, and homemade ice cream, the first batch got screwed up so now I have a vanilla custard for tomorrow night.

Looks like a great meal!
I'd have had to buy half a cow if we served steaks on Christmas with the tribe all here, lol

We're having steaks Monday, just salt and pepper on them.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Are those Texas steaks or Mexican steaks? We were visiting family in Texas and our host served us steak from Mexico and they had a different flavor-I thought they were awesome.

What’s all over them ?
You drop them in the sand ?
If all that’s seasoning how can you taste the meat? Just like smothering one in steak sauce. Can’t taste the meat

Some of the best BBQ Rub I've found comes out of Waxahachie,Texas. That's about 160(?) miles North of you?

Mostly salt and pepper on this strip loin. Going to throw it on some red oak for our Christmas on Sunday. [Linked Image]

It'll be tasty, Yote. It's a fair amount, but there's twelve pounds of meat there.

No sense in working an eightysome hour week if I can't enjoy a good cut of beef every now and then.
