Started reading a book called "Silence of the North" from early 1900s, true story of a woman and her survival as a pioneer in northern BC/Alberta. Fascinating read.

Olive Fredrickson A good book

Silence of the North is also a hunting and fishing outfit where the road ends in Saskatchewan. My son took a huge bear from that camp some years back.

Never knew there was a movie! Read the book the first time about 50 some years ago.
