Ive looked a bit and didnt find any good you tubes videos. I plan to build something for coyotes and bigger dogs Doesn't necessarily need to be a cam design trigger
Not a backyard build video buy someone just looking for hits. ,,,

A video created by an engineer or machinist isnt necessary but a better video and maybe explanations would help grin

I mean really you just gonna be up sizing your material gonna be the same principals really just bigger ... I'd probably go with horse panel and think a double door with would be better for them since there so phobic... Ma ye have like a bait cage in the middle on the side . I have plenty of videos on trigger designs and stuff , my channel isn't monotozied so I don't do it for clicks lol

.. got a call from the sheriff a few months ago … they had caught a dog in a big box trap … dog escaped when they were getting it out then wouldn’t go back in again

… I went down there and caught it with a #2 in a dirthole lol

Insert profound nonsense here

Thanks wolfdog: Im chuckling how simple the door lock is

Im looking at I guess the proper name is guillotine. Maybe thats why I was getting poor search results.

Im thinking I need a large pan/sheet foot style pan and pin type trigger. I dont want a conibear type trigger ( my dog ran a piece of wire into her chest,, in November,,, a good vet saved her life)
Anyone have a good pic or video of a foot pan type of pan/rod/trigger

blush

I made this video many years ago and many people have used this simple design over the years since. You can build it any size you want and it'll still function the same.

Last night I flipped the cage portion upright. Position.
That will be one tall trap so I'm going to cut it down to 36 in.
I'll post up a picture once I get it done

I am trying to figure out why you would want to even mess with something with such a low rate of success.
