I figured that eating the flesh of a predator ought to make me stronger and a better hunter. Kinda like how eating liver is supposed to be good for your own liver. Lol.

It seems to me fish is a predator and I wouldn't eat one of them stinky catfish if an I was starving.

Do you think they'd eat one that's dead in the river?

Ever eat crawdads? Carrion eaters, doesn't mater if it swims, flys or has fur

Same as my ribeye.

Salt and pepper.

I don't make a habit of eating it. Only had it a couple times.

From the Jimmy Stewart film Shenandoah: "Why, I hear down in Andersonville they're eatin' rats"!

I strongly suspect grain fed Norway rat tastes like squirrel. I like squirrel a lot. If I didn't put poison out, I would try the rats I shoot in my barns.

I've seen a lot of videos of Asians eating rats. They even serve rat in fancy restaurants. Many of the ways they prepare it look good.

Bobcat is fine table fare that can be prepared in a variety of ways. Like most other meats, the backstraps are the prime portion but the quarters are good also. Bobcat, the other white meat!

I have had Mt Lion, bobcat and lynx. From what I have seen it all tastes about the same. I do not suggest eating old toms.. They have a added flavor that isn't good.
