Has any body ever been to it?

I was up there a few days after it closed fishing lake trout. Looks like a combination trip is in order some day.

It's actually called "The Pas Trappers Festival "

Went up there for 9 years straight duck and goose hunting. Those were some of the best eating birds I ever ate. There was some kind of a Indian church that gladly took all are extra birds so we were never over our limit. Ran into a few bears that didn't like us in a few marshes. That all had to of taken place close to 25 years ago.

This is The Pas town event. Some have Bigfoot days, summer in the city days, blueberry festival, The Pas has the Trappers Festival. I’ve never been, but this is where my father-in-law won me my beaver hat that I use all the time. I’ve only driven through or worked in The Pas. Watch where you park, hang a dream catcher off your mirror will help and travel in groups in the evening. I’m sure they’ll have beefed up security for that week though.

I am confused as "Pas" in French means... No, Nothing Negative????
So it just the town's name not a reference to wild fur??

It's at the confluence of the Pasquia River and the Saskatchewan River so I guess they called it The Pas.
