Way more wildlife in the desert there than a persons imagines would be out there. My first trip to Wickenburg the amount of critters was amazing to see.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

I lived in Tucson for seven years. Anyone going down should make a trip to the Desert Museum. It has the animals, reptiles, birds, plants and minerals from that area on display. It is well worth the time to go.

After a couple hrs as we were leaving it was getting very busy.

Fantasic photos! I did some Coues Whitetail hunting way down on the southeast border area of Arizona, (successfully!), and also did some dove and quail hunting. Those scaled quail are beautiful birds, and very difficult to hunt without dogs. We managed limits only because there were so many of them running around, and I mean RUNNING! Thanks for the great pictures.
