I like rebar stakes. Claw hammer works good for pulling them

same for me , I used a grinder to open the claw a bit to grab 3/8 rebar stakes

Straight is where it’s at, if you’ve not used ya don’t know…. At least here where during the majority of prime fur season, the ground may well be like a piece of rock or ice…. I dream of “pounding” out a trap bed in December…. Lol

This is what I use, I don’t have any problems with this one or the others.

We use on the of Stalker Fabrications hammers, they are a beast.

Old thread I know. Does the direction of the digging blade bevel make a difference in frozen ground?

I like the masonry or rock type hammers for cutting the trap bed and a #4 sledge for driving in anchors or metal stakes, but I can drive to almost every K-9 set here.

I use both. The big hammer is for frozen ground or ground with a lot of roots to pull out. And for pounding in anchors or rebar.

Brick hammer always for remakes.

This is what I use. I stake with rebar. A piece of 4x4 makes pulling them easy. Drives stakes, pulls them, and digs beds. Last almost forever. 28 ounce.
